The Architecture of Expression

MPE Insight splits complex gesture mapping into independent, highly reactive layers. Instead of rendering static readouts, it transforms touch into architecture.

Visual Layer Module

Aura

Aura is one visual output layer of the MPE INSIGHT system, translating expressive data into dynamic visual structures. It listens to pressure, glide, pitch bend, timbre (CC74) and velocity on every active note and turns them into one continuous shape — bars, rings, particles, or a flythrough tunnel.

Because MPE tracks each finger on its own thread, Aura translates independent physical gestures into decoupled visual movements in real time.
